WANT to experience a night unlike no other?
If so, there is only one place to go this Friday - the Colchester Art Centre in Church Street, where the Just for Jeremy charity gig is being held.
This special fundraising gig is being held in memory of former Gazette reporter Jeremy Price, who died last month from a brain tumour, and will raise money for the Brain and Spine Foundation.
The evening gets underway at 7.30pm with live performances from some of the best bands in the area including Koopa, Fuzzface and The Tom Parkes band. It will then be followed at 11pm with a special club night with indie DJ sets inspired by the music Jeremy loved.
Tickets are £7 and available on the door.
For those who want to step back and forth in time and excite their musical taste buds with something a little bit different the Curve Bar on East Hill, Colchester will be getting down with the BitterSweet crowd tomorrow night between 8pm and 1am.
And for those looking for funky house flavours, head to Escape Nightclub in Copford, near Colchester, this Saturday where Hedkandi DJs Jim Breese and Charlie Edwards will be taking over the decks while Ian C adds to the beat on percussion.
Ware it's At for me this weekend - there really is no contest!
I will be heading to the Just for Jeremy charity gig to remember a former work colleague and friend and to enjoy what will no doubt be some sensational performances from the live bands as well as some of the best Indie music which Jez loved.
