Dukes Genesis in Dukes Street, Chelmsford, will not only be counting down the New Year but will also be celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2008. Clubbers will be treated to party hats, balloons, party poppers, champagne, glowsticks and confetti cannons to ensure the New Year starts with a blast!
Fancy dressing up as your favourite film star or movie character? Head to Greenlands, better known as the Vodka Bar in St John's Street, Colchester, as it will seeing off the year with a fancy dress theme party.
HedKandi DJs Tony Nicholls, Tony P and percussionist Afro Buddha will be back at Escape in Copford, near Colchester, and Kiss FM's Chappers and DJ Paul Foster will be filling the Hippodrome in Colchester's High Street, with all the latest music.
And for clubbers who think they have the staying power to party til the morning, the Sky Rooms, also in Colchester's High Street, will be celebrating the New Year until 10am on New Year's Day.
