I CAN see why Qube in Crouch Street, Colchester, is the place to go at the moment.
If you love the hustle and bustle of London bars then you will definitely love Qube.
Dimmed lights, a lighted outside area which gives you a holiday feel, ceiling to floor drapes, house music and a buzz of the crowd which you can hear over the music, gave this place a taste of London, mixed with an exotic holiday experience.
When I went on Saturday, Qube seemed to be drawing in a mixed crowd with ages ranging from early 20s to late 30s.
There was plenty of seating including near the bar area, but to enjoy it you really do need to get to Qube early, especially if you want to park yourself at a table for most of the night.
The funky modern bar area had a wide selection of soft and alcoholic drinks for customers to choose from and the restaurant upstairs can cater for your needs.
Qube is definitely worth a visit, however, to enjoy the London experience make sure you get to Qube early, otherwise you will have to queue outside and wait your turn.
