Colchester Zoo to close children's soft play area for nine days - here's why and when (Image: Public)
AN indoor facility at Colchester Zoo is set to close for nine days over two weeks.
Colchester Zoo, in Maldon Road, Stanway, will be shutting its indoor soft play complex, Jungle Tumble, in May.
The closure will take place from May 7 to May 10 and May 13 to May 17, to allow for annual maintenance work and a deep clean to take place.
The play area is popular with young children and is normally available in ticketed 45 minute slots, allowing them to roam around and enjoy themselves.
