A PERFORMING arts school will host a free open day later this month.

Colchester's Pauline Quirke Academy (PQA) offers a comprehensive performing arts experience encompassing varied aspects of performing arts from TV and film to comedy and drama.

Specialist teachers conduct creative projects and performance experiences that are both rewarding and fun.

PQA provides children with a range of learning opportunities, including the ability to create their work under the watchful guidance of expert teachers.

Children get the experience of performing on a West End stage and local theatres, film screenings and masterclasses conducted by industry specialists.

PQA aims to make their academies a safe environment where young people can discover themselves, grow creatively and develop towards confident adulthood.

The free day will be held on April 26 and will give interested youngsters a chance to experience a day in the academy.

Fixed monthly membership is offered at PQA Colchester without additional hidden costs, with a bonus free t-shirt thrown in upon sign-up.

The academy is currently enrolling students aged between 4-18, providing the opportunity to try a full PQA session for free.

To book a free session, visit the Pauline Quirke Academy - Colchester website.
