A CRAZY golf course which is set to move into a derelict city centre building has revealed plans to sell booze.

Putt Putt Noodle, which is due to launch on the ground floor of the former Debenhams site, in Colchester, has applied to sell alcohol licence.

Putt Putt Noddle is an Asian inspired adventure golf course which also serves food.

If the licence is permitted, under the Licensing Act of 2003, the business will be able to sale alcohol from Monday to Thursday, 10am to 11.30pm, Friday to Saturday, 10am to 12am, and Sunday 12pm to 10.30pm.

A late-night refreshment service could also be implemented Monday to Thursday from 11pm to 11.30pm, and Friday to Saturday 11pm to 12am.

The golf course will operate on the ground floor and an arcade will also be featured on the site’s first floor.

Feedback can be made in writing to the Colchester Council and the deadline is April 17.
