A MERCEDES-BENZ was seized after a motorist was caught driving without insurance.
An officer from Essex Police’s Colchester community policing team spotted the black Mercedes C250d driving along Hawthorn Avenue, Greenstead, over the weekend.
The police said on Facebook: “The vehicle did not have any insurance and following a quick chat with the driver it became apparent that he had not renewed his policy when it had expired and did not have any other insurance policies that would have covered him.”
Officers seized the vehicle and the driver was reported.
