A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after an incident in Colchester city centre.
Essex Police made the arrest earlier today after its Colchester community policing team circulated the description of a person of interest in regards to a burglary investigation after alleged incidents against city centre businesses.
In a post on Facebook, officers wrote: "Utilising the town link radio system the businesses alerted officers to a man matching the description given out and officers attended a licensed premises in the city centre.
"A man, aged 57 from Colchester, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and is awaiting questioning in custody."
