A CALLOUS man accused his ex-girlfriend of aborting their baby after she had a miscarriage, a court heard.

Samuel Richfield, 31, posted threatening videos about the victim on TikTok and other social media platforms after their relationship broke down.

Ipswich Crown Court heard his despicable behaviour went on for six months between August 2021 and February last year.

Simon Gladwell, prosecuting, said: “The relationship broke down for a number of reasons, one of which was that Mr Richfield believed she had aborted his child when in fact she had a miscarriage.”

In one video shared by Richfield, he said: “You killed my kid. I am a chosen one and you will burn in hell for killing my kid."

He said in a separate recording: “All I ever wanted to be was a dad and she knew that and I told her the universe will get her back.”

Richfield, of Culture Close, Colchester, admitted harrassment causing fear of violence.

Steven Dyble, mitigating, said the incidents took place while Richfield was addicted to drugs.

He added: “There is genuine remorse. He has drawn a line and it and she [the victim] has no reason to fear anymore.”

Richfield was handed a three year community order and a restraining order was made banning him from contacting the victim for five years.
