FIREFIGHTERS will be swapping smoke for suds during a day of charity car washing.
The crew at Coggeshall Fire Station will be welcoming residents with a car in need of a clean between 10am and 4pm on Sunday.
The event is in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity and the Friends of St Peter’s School and the suggested donation is £5.
A statement reads: “We'll wash pretty much anything - bring your bike, scooter, mobility scooter and we'll send you away gleaming.”
Cake and drinks will be available throughout the day at the station in Colne Road, Coggeshall.
