Mental health is a serious problem that lots of students in every school in the country suffer and face sometimes alone without a professional medically trained councillor their health can quickly deteriorate
A study by the mental health foundation found that in any given year, 20% of adolescents may struggle with mental health issues. 50% of mental health issues begin by age 14 and 75% by age 24, respectively. 70% of children and adolescents who encounter mental health difficulties have not received the proper interventions at a young enough age, despite the fact that 10% of children and young people (ages 5 to 16) have a clinically diagnosable mental condition.
A mother of three who the youngest is still a teenager had this to say “Allowing kids to make their own decisions in a safe environment where they are supported is the most important thing” – Lisa Haywood
What kind of world would we live in if we didn’t put the health of our kids as a priority?
A world filled with people who can’t deal with emotions or have been desensitised to them like robots
